La Paz pictures in no particular order

 Nevermind

Keeping it random

Details like this really are worth the bother

Came out of the watet to find this little guy sharing the shade of my palapa on the Malecon.

Pekin Hotel, right on the Malecon.

My early morning coffe and smoke spot directly across the street from my hotel.

The bus terminal for the Playa Bus to Balandra and Telocote. And buses to take you all the way to Cabo San Lucas too.

Museo de Arte de Baja California Sur (Museo de Arte de Baja California Sur - MUABCS)

Playa Bus.

Playa Coromuel Hike, La Paz, Baja California

Google promised Playa Coromuel was a 36 minute walk. An hour was more like it. Maybe 36 minutes if you power marched in the sun and never stopped to take photos but why would anyone do that?

More groovy La Paz sulptures to see along the way.

Super cool bike and skateboatd park.

It doesn't have to be a heat stroke trip. There are plenty of places to get wet along the way; little playitas like this one, boat launches or just easing yourself down the wall on to the rocks works too.

No.

No. That's not Coromuel yet. Keep strolling.

Finally
 Much better.

Waterproof smartphone protectors are a great place for hotel key cards too.

Playa Telocote, La Paz

Telocote is one of those seemingly endless beaches that goes on forever.

Wait a minute. This is an end. With plenty of well fed pelicans living the good life.

The view from my natural sun shelter..

I had to wonder how secure these rocks were. A hiker, coming from who knows where, dropped down from the low end without shaking any rocks loose, I'm happy to say.

Yeah. That head crusher looks ready to drop.

I touched the wall and it felt solid enough.
Still, some rocks over my head looked precarious. I wouldn't care to use the place for a rain shelter in a tropical storm.

This one came from the hill at one time. A solid reminder.
