UMAR Huatulco Graduation 2018: The Formal Goodbye

On graduation day, I like to take as many photos as possible so all of our graduates are included but I usually fail.  People slip away quickly once it's all over.  This year I think I got everybody.  There was a photo session behind the auditorium before the ceremony.  All I needed was that one good group shot.  It wasn't quite so easy as that but I pulled it off.

Still waiting for a few stragglers.

Just when I thought it was mission accomplished, more stragglers turned up.

For the first time, graduation was held in our multi-use gymnasium.  It holds a lot more people than the auditorium.  It's well-lit with plenty of natural light and it was such a relief to step in out of that hot sun to high ceilings and air conditioners.

More professional photographs are out there somewhere.

Lots of proud and happy parents

Congratulations on the big day, everyone.   It was so nice to see everyone looking so sharp to receive their well-earned degrees.  We won't forget you.
