High Achievement

Summer school at UMAR Huatulco can be very grueling as an entire semester is squeezed into six weeks. Students who can't keep up the pace are well advised to stay away and brush up a bit independently to get a jump start on the fall. I was very fortunate to have a way above average class this semester. Some of them worked summer jobs in the afternoons and evenings and still kept up with their school work.

It was a close finish in our student reader competition. The prize was awarded to Ilce, who managed to complete the most independent reading and listening with student reader novels on top of her regular class assignments. Did I mention she took two classes last summer?! Well done!

So, what's in the bag? It's a well-guarded secret.
